Loading Screen Mod – One way to help speed up the loading times for Cities Skylines is by using a great mod called Loading Screen Mod by thale5. (my system specs are located at the bottom of this post for your reference) Mods to enhance your game The more assets one downloads for the game the slower your game will run. This is also true when downloading assets (buildings, vehicles, trees, etc) that have been created by the modding community found in the Steam workshop.

I use a few basic mods but am limited by what my computer can handle. Let’s first look at making Cities Skylines better with mods.
